All design services include the following:
Understanding your needs
Discussing how you want to use the space, your likes and dislikes. Also, I will provide a short questionnaire which will help shape your preferences, thoughts and ideas.
Garden site assessment and measuring the space
Including a survey of soil assessment, aspect, topography*.
Client Brief
A confirmed brief to ensure that all parties are agreed on what is required. Including timelines, costing etc.
*(More complex projects may require a 3rd party Topographical Survey).
Design Service – Full Garden Design
Creating a bespoke garden plan that perfectly incorporates your personal style and ideas. It takes into account the insights gained from your questionnaire to ensure the design responds directly to your needs and ambitions. This is a collaborative process, where your preferences are at the heart of the design, ensuring the final result is truly yours.
The design process includes detailed design drawings that are drawn to scale, based on the information gathered during the site survey. These outline plans include every element of the design, specifying materials, layout, and plant selection, giving you a clear vision of how the space will come together.
A further option is to have a maintenance plan for the garden - This breaks down the care and maintenance tasks required by each plant and bespoke to your space. It is optional as it will depend on your confidence and expertise.
Design Service – Planting Plans
A planting plan is a scale drawing that can inject new life into an existing space, several different flower beds or can be a whole new area. The scale plan will show the position, variety and quantity of plants for the space.
The planting plan will ensure that your likes and dislikes are considered, with the colour and interest you want.
Plants are carefully selected to create the right look and feel, ensuring you have the right plant for the right place, and tailored to the amount of time available to maintain the garden.
Garden Consultancy
A professional advice service, providing insights, suggestions and ideas for maximising the space you already have.
It can be from just 90 mins to a few hours to help discuss your ideas and suggestions of adjustments that could bring about impactful changes.
This is often requested by clients who want the benefit of an expert to help them realise their own project. Optional follow up service of providing lists of plant suggestions and specifications.
